She then received advanced surgical training in Eye Plastic Surgery upon being selected for a highly competitive fellowship at the Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, one of the best training centres in India. She has to her credit ,publications in various peer reviewed, indexed, national and international journals, including American Society Journal (Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) and Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. She is a life member of the Oculoplastic Association of India (OPAI), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) and Asia Pacific Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
